Somewhere in the deepest corners of the universe lives a creature that feasts upon the emotions of all beings. This being takes hope and joy, and turns them into fear and hate. Hailing from a far off dimension, where good and evil magi battled for dominance, this creature once lived among them, aspiring for power, yet remaining neutral. For true evil is neutral. It is a soulless killing machine. It is neither 'good' nor 'bad'. As the creature gained power, its brethen became aware of its presence and too late did they try to stop it. It ran rampant among them, devouring their emotions, their, fears, and their very minds. As they saw their companions fall into oblivion, the magi too late made a pact. It was too late for them. With their last ounce of power, the mages sealed the creature in their own dimension, hopefully forever. But the creature turned to eating the very fabric of life itself. It tore holes in the essence of space, leading the way to freedom. The mages still had enough life in them to see the creature that controlled the dead pass through the portal, and into the light beyond. The creature was free. The creature was hungry. The creature was Necromanzer! All fear and hail the coming of the destroyer of joy, and the bringer of eternal darkness! | ||
